P0A1F-49: BECM Failure
Rarely a cell fault. Internal component failure (memory corruption or processor fatigue) on the BECM board inside the HV battery housing.
Official JLR: Replace entire HV battery assembly (£10,000+)
Our Solution: Drop pack, remove lid, replace BECM unit only (Save £7,000+)

Critical Programming Note:
BECM is VIN-locked and part of immobiliser handshake. Must install virgin unit and use TOPIx Cloud "Replace ECU" routine to download strategy files and pair to BCM/Gateway.
Complete Electrical System Failure
48V-to-12V DC-DC Converter failure. Car has no alternator and relies on 48V battery (charged by BISG) to keep 12V battery alive.
Do NOT assume 48V lithium battery is dead just because the car is dead!
Revival Procedure:
Part Number: DC-DC Converter failures common on 2019-2022 MHEV models
Battery drops below threshold to close contactors. Car needs "bootstrapping" to revive.

High-amp Battery Support Unit (BSU) capable of 13.5V steady at 100A (Deutronic or similar)
